Which shampoo for your horse’s do?!
There’s no doubt about it, at Equimins, we offer a great range of shampoos to help keep your horse’s coat clean and conditioned…but how do you know which one to pick? Here’s our guide to selecting the shampoo that’s right for your horse.
The first question to ask yourself…do I want a shampoo that helps to enhance my horse’s coat colour? If the answer’s yes, then look at Red Shampoo for chestnut coloured coats, Dark Shampoo for black and brown coats, and Blue Shampoo for white and grey coats. If you have a horse that doesn’t fit into these categories, opt for Blue Shampoo as this formula has been created to help add definition and depth to all coat colours.
If you answered no to the first question, ask yourself…do I want to make sure my horse’s coat is free from bacteria and fungi? If the answer’s yes, you need Microlat Horse Shampoo. This two-in-one shampoo with conditioner also contains Microlat, a natural ingredient created using several essential oils that helps to cleanse the coat of bacteria and fungi. As an added advantage, it can also be used on other animals…
Still looking? Ask yourself…would I like my horse to smell nice this summer? If the answer’s yes, you want Citronella Shampoo– a rich, nourishing shampoo and conditioner containing citronella essential oil.

And, last but not least, we know that the weather isn’t always perfect, and that’s why we have Dry Clean, a waterless body wash that can be used when a full wash isn’t practical.
