Hormonal help

Calming supplements can be fed for many reasons, including hormonal imbalance, which can make the sweetest horse become, well, a little tricky!

Conventional calming supplements can be used to help, but we find that if hormones are running riot, looking at supplements that focus on this area can be really effective…and this is why we have Nightmare.

nightmare_750g copyNightmare Hormonal Mare Supplement can be fed to mares with PMS and hormonal imbalance, but it can also be fed to stallions and rigs as needed. It’s a soothing supplement that we’ve extensively researched and refined to help during challenging times. It contains carefully selected herbs in addition to magnesium, trace elements, minerals, glutathione and other antioxidants and feeding rates are low (due to the high specification of the supplement), so it won’t break the bank either! The supplement can be fed at low, maintenance and high levels, allowing you to adjust the daily dose depending on your horse and the time of the year. At maintenance level, a 750g tub will last for 50 days.

We also do a liquid product called Nightmare Liquid, although it was previously called Temperamental, so you might know it as that. This is a herbal multiblend to help maintain a balanced hormonal system. It contains chaste tree berry, dandelion, raspberry, chamomile and skullcap and is fed at a rate of 15ml per day. It comes in a 1 litre bottle with dispenser chamber (so feeding is easy) and 1 litre will last for 66 day.
